Re: 11 june Matches(1,2)- Predictions
The first match of the World Cup is crucial for both South Africa and Mexico since Group A is considered one of the tournament's toughest groups. A loss for either nation would be catastrophic to its hopes of qualification for the round of 16, and a draw might be equally injurious.
Player to watch for South Africa
Bernard Parker — Short but quick, Parker takes the place of South African all-time leading goalscorer Benni McCarthy. Although the 24-year-old Parker does not have nearly as many accolades as McCarthy, the FC Twente forward impressed at last year's Confederations Cup and is being lauded as the present and the future of South African soccer.
Player to watch for Mexico
Cuauhtemoc Blanco — Even at 37 years old, Blanco still has the fire to burn opposing defences. He has never been a quick attacker, but his strength and aggression are hard to douse and he could wreak havoc upon South Africa's notoriously disorganized defence.
Match 2
Everyone is expecting France to fail miserably in South Africa and perhaps that is when they are at their most dangerous? Some have even gone as far as to put money on Domenech’s men repeating their feat of 2002 and not collecting a single goal, but that seems a tad unlikely given their fairly average group.
Uruguay may well offer stiff opposition though. With Diego Forlan leading the line the South American side offers a very real attacking threat and they are pretty solid at the back and have a very able keeper in Fernando Muslera between the sticks. Could be a tasty tie indeed.
Here are some highlights of warm up matches the two teams have taken part in prior to their big kick off.

Match 1.South africa vs Mexico
It is just too illogical in the South Africa vs Mexico live stream preview not to go with the World Cup 2010 finals hosts. South Africa are in great form and what must swing it their way is the way their defence has started to come together really well. They may not score that many going forward but the way their defence shuts down the opposition could make the difference against the slightly more porous Mexicans.
Bafana Bafana striker Mphela will be keen to continue his red hot form in front of goal against Mexico who have struggled to maintain their concentration in defence recently. But take note that those were friendly matches and the seriousness of it all will be back here. Against Italy they also proved that they can rise to the occasion. It is perhaps why they start as favourites but we think South Africa will have a slightly better chance of taking the points.
my pick: South africa 1-2 mexico
Match 2. France Vs Uruguay
Uruguay is truly a fun team to watch and I doubt they will disappoint come Friday. The question is can they minimize their defensive mistakes and keep the pressure on French keeper Hugo Lloris? If so, they could give the Frenchmen a real tough time. Another thing that must be taken into consideration is how you discount France’s recent friendly performances. Personally, I think they looked poor in the qualifiers and even worse in the friendlies which will in turn carry over to the World Cup. I think France’s poor form continues and they will be happy to escape with a draw.
my pic Pick:
France 2 – 2 Uruguay

Smh @ that bullshit call in the Mexico game. It should of been 2-1 for them. As for France and Uruguay, I find it awkward that the France manager decided to take off Anelka to replace henry, rather then put both of them on.
By the way My history teacher let us listen to the radio stream of the Mexico Vs Africa game. LOL
